Mobile data drops in lifts, on the road and at client sites. When it does, you can still do the work that does not need anyone else:

• New invoice drafts and quotes, with their lines, prices and notes.
• New clients, including one you add from inside the invoice form.
• New expenses that you type in.

Each one appears in its list straight away, greyed out and marked "Waiting to upload". In the Android app, the lists from the last time you were online also stay on screen to read. The native Android app is in closed testing on Google Play. The web app works in any phone browser with the same account.

• Sending an invoice or quote by WhatsApp, email or link.
• Editing an invoice that is already saved.
• Recording a payment, or confirming a client's "I've paid" report.
• Scanning a receipt, attaching a receipt photo and using the AI assistant.

The rule is simple. Anything that reaches your client or changes money must really happen before the app tells you it did. A queued payment that never arrives at the server would show a client as paid when they are not. So these actions stay online only.

When your connection comes back, or the next time you open the app, waiting items upload by themselves. Clients go first, then the drafts that use them, then expenses.

Every item gets its final ID on your device when you save it. If an upload is cut off halfway and tried again, the same item is never saved twice. If the server refuses an item, it stays on your list with the reason, so you can fix it or remove it.

Signing out clears your account data from the device, so Inbill uploads what is waiting first. If something still has not uploaded, for example because you are still offline, you see how many things are waiting and two choices: stay signed in, or sign out and delete them.
