I’m glad to announce that we are officially leaving the “beta” status.
What does it mean after all? Technology world is developing so fast; with the practice of every-day micro-releases (at least in SaaS), many software products are in “perpetual beta”. Same with Inbill.
Our product is still very simple and focused, and we have a lot of peripheral things yet to do. We took our time, and to this day have been laser-focused to make sure that data handling, accuracy, security and performance are up to the task. It’s now safe to say these critical areas are no longer in beta status.
Out of beta doesn’t mean “forever bug-free”, since there’s no such thing in tech. We still fix and change minor things here and there in business-as-usual style. However, we already process thousands of dollars daily and serve hundreds of support agents with Zendesk, Intercom, and a few other, experimental setups. Now that we confidently cover critical areas, we feel it’s the right moment to go out of beta and to start charging for the product.
